The service
ISC Labs provides Content Intelligence, a hosted search and content-intelligence service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe a key has been exposed so we can rotate it.
Your content
You retain all rights to the content you index. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you: to store, process and index that content in order to answer your searches, generate overviews and produce your analytics. You confirm you have the right to index the content you submit.
Acceptable use
- Do not index content you do not have the rights to, or content that is unlawful.
- Do not attempt to access another customer's index or data.
- Do not use the service to build a competing search index, or resell it without agreement.
- Do not deliberately overload or disrupt the service.
Plans, billing and usage
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and include set usage quotas. Usage beyond those quotas is billed at the published overage rates rather than blocked, so your search keeps working for your visitors. Current plans, quotas and rates are on our pricing page. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next billing period.
Trials and cancellation
Free trials are not charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not refund partial periods unless required by law.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided without an uptime guarantee unless separately agreed in writing. The WordPress plugin falls back to standard WordPress search if the service is unreachable, so your site's search continues to function.
AI-generated output
AI overviews are generated from your own indexed content. They may nonetheless be incomplete or inaccurate, and you are responsible for reviewing anything you publish or rely on.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in advance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time.
